Change a customer device

At present, Sber Smart Home does not support existing model changes, so that if a model has changed, add a new model to your project, with updated characteristics, and use it when describing devices.

To change a device:

  1. In the browser, open the address http://<controller IP address>:8090/. The SberDevices IoT Agent application opens.

  2. In the list, find and select the device to be changed.

  3. Make changes to the device characteristics and functions. Read more on these in the Step 4. Adding customer devices section.

    Be careful when changing a device's home, room, or groups. In Sber Smart Home, location will change automatically, causing inconveniences for a customer that already got used to the current location.

  4. Save changes.

  5. In the right-hand part of the screen, click on Restart (Перезапустить). Wait until the restart finishes – the Online (В сети) status will be displayed on screen.

    Following that, changes to the customer device will be imported into Sber Smart Home – the customer will see these changes in the Salute app and on devices with Salute assistants.
