Step 6. Passing devices to customer's Sber ID account

All devices imported in Sber Smart Home will be added to your service account. They will not be visible to the customer.

For the customer to be able to control his/her smart home, the devices need to be passed over to his/her Sber ID account. Thereafter, the devices will become visible in his/her Salute app and on devices with Salute assistants.

After passing the devices, you will still be able to add and delete smart home devices in the SberDevices IoT Agent app on the customer's controller.

To pass devices to the customer's account:

  1. In SmartMarket Studio, open the integration project.
  2. Open the
    Settings
    tab. In the table, find the line with the customer's MQTT server name. In the User password column, click on Generate – the password for passing the devices to the customer will be displayed. Copy it.
  3. Send the login and password to the customer in any convenient manner, e.g. by email. Also, send him/her a link to the instruction on how to connect a wired home.

Once the customer connects a wired home, the home devices will become visible in the Salute app and on the customer's smart devices: SberPortal, SberBox, SberBox Top, Salute TV, and others.

Smart home devices may be controlled either by voice or via the interface. Sber Smart Home Help will come in handy – provide the customer with a link: sberdevices.ru/help/smarthome/third-party.
